Entry-Level Maintenance Technician (Metro Districts) PART TIME - Thornton, CO 80602 - Indeed.com
Landscape Improvements
The Heritage Todd Creek Metro Board is excited to share that landscape improvements are officially underway along Ehler West of the Uinta gate!
This enhancement project will bring fresh new plantings and a cleaner, more refined look to the area. You’ll see 20 new trees added, mulch areas replaced with cobble, mulch areas refreshed with anew mulch and significant upgrades at the intersection of Quebec and Ehler, as well as throughout the native areas from Uinta to Quebec.
At the corner of Ehler and Quebec, the existing planting bed will be revitalized with vibrant annual flowers along the front edge. Dead grasses will be cleared out and replaced to fill in open spaces, creating a fuller, healthier appearance. Behind the planting area, ten pine trees will be installed, along with two additional trees north of the bed and three new deciduous trees planted to the east—adding height, texture, and seasonal color to the landscape.
The native areas will also receive thoughtful improvements. They will be reworked with a new, shorter native grass seed blend—different from the taller grasses along Yosemite. This cool-season grass will green up earlier in the spring and stay vibrant longer into the fall. While seeding will take place in the fall for best results, preparation work will begin this spring.
We look forward to seeing these improvements take shape and bringing fresh beauty to the neighborhood!
Quebec Entrance
The improvements at the Quebec entrance continue to be on hold until the installation of the traffic light is complete. At this time, we do not have an update on the schedule for the traffic light project.
